Shannon Smith Waiter, founder of Heirloom, began her career in communications before finding herself in the award-winning kitchens of Oxheart and Noma in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was only natural that she combined her culinary knowledge and background with her marketing, public relations, and social media experience. Shannon was in charge of the day-to-day marketing and public relations for multiple prominent Houston restaurants and Non-Profits before founding Heirloom in 2020.
Megan Pappert
Megan Pappert has over six years of experience in the public relations and marketing industry with clients ranging from hospitality, luxury brands, nonprofits, and real estate. Acting as a liaison between the client and the media, Megan ensures that clients stay top-of-mind in the news with tailored pitches and press releases. Other day-to-day tasks include social media content creation and management, graphic and website design, media buys, and event coordination.
Caimen Schneider
Caimen Schneider is a recent graduate from the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned her degree in corporate communications and business. During her time in college, she fell in love with social media and public relations while working at various restaurant-focused lifestyle communications agencies across Texas. With a strong love for food and cooking, Caimen enjoys merging her culinary interests with her professional career, bringing creativity and enthusiasm to every project she undertakes.
Meredith Clark
Meredith Clark, a Houston native, graduated from Louisiana State University with a degree in Marketing. She gained experience through internships across multiple fields including Social Media, Business to Business Marketing, and Sales. From being one of Heirloom Interactive's first interns, Meredith is now a Social Media & Public Relations Account Coordinator.
